STEP 1:    
Laser engrave the wood plaque, glass or acrylic plate as required for your particular award.
The acrylic or glass plate is easily removed (with screws) off the riser posts so that the plates can be engraved. After engraving, screw plate back on the plaque with supplied Snap Cap washers and snap on the colored caps.

 

STEP 2:
Recording your message
Turn plaque over and rotate the audio award cover counter clockwise until the gray record button is exposed. Press the gray button and hold while recording your voice or the sound directly into the small hole that is a micro phone on the back of the device. A red light will go on letting you know that your recording session has started and that you have approximately 10 seconds to record your message. You will hear a beep sound and the red light will go off to let you know that your recording time has elapsed. If you want to re-record the message on the device because you are not satisfied, repeat Step 2 as many times as you need to get your message right.

STEP 3:
Setting the device.
When you are satisfied with your message, rotate the outer rim of the devise clockwise covering the gray recording button, your message is now locked in.

 

STEP 4:
Playing the device on the plaque.
Hang plaque on the wall. Press lightly on the bottom edge of the plaque and the audio device play button will activate your message and automatically shut off after the message is played. Even after years of playing your message will be saved in the device even if the batteries go dead or are replaced.
