Q: How do you record a message on the Audio Award Plaque?

A: To record a message all you do is rotate the sound device cover so the rubber button is exposed. Press and hold the button to record sound ( up to 10 seconds ), then rotate the cover back to save.

Q: How do you play the message that is recorded on the Audio Award Plaque?

A: The Audio Award device has a PLAY button that is positioned on the back of the plaque. When the plaque is hanging on the wall and it is touched ( pressed against the wall ) the message is played. The sound comes through the speaker and out of the small holes on the front of the plaque.

Q: What happens to my special message if the batteries go dead?

A: Your special message is saved on the device even if the batteries go dead.

Q: What type of batteries does the Audio Award Plaque device use?

A: To replace the batteries the recording device uses (3) #389-061-08 (#357) Batteries.

Q: What if the sound coming from the recording device has some background noise?

A: For your new recording device to play back sound properly, and eliminate background noise, the manufacturer states a test recording must first be made to properly set the recorders electronic memory.

Q: If I make a mistake on the recording of the message on the device can it be re-done/ re-recorded?

A: Yes, you can record and re-record until you are satisfied with the 10 second message.
